Teacher Blogs

Keara posted an awesome idea about creating a teachers' blog. I am apprehensive about blogging with my kindergarten students, but I can see this being very useful. Teachers could collaborate units, themes, or any other helpful information. I imagine there are many teacher blogs available, I just haven't searched them out since blogging is so new to me. Does anyone have any teachers' blogs (kindergarten or primary) they can recommend?

  1. Beth, I agree a teachers blog would be very useful. I found an art one that I've been checking out and found to be interesting. It's time consuming to look at but I have gotten an idea or two from it.

I searched for a kindergarten one for you and this is what I found... http://kidney-garden.blogspot.com/ This website looks awesome. It has lots of ideas with pictures. I'm not a kindergarten teacher but it may be something to check out.

  2. I have also seen some interesting kindergarten and first grade educator blogs. Right now I feel there is just so much information out there to access but not enough time to get to all of it!

  3. Thanks Keara for finding that site. I love the photographs, but she has a lot of other "stuff" that does not pertain to teaching. Also, too much to read. This is helpful for me to visualize my own blog. I had not thought of putting photos in a blog, and I realize I want short blog entries. Too much to read turns me away from the blog.
