Flip Cameras

I am enjoying reading all the clever ideas out there regarding the many uses of the flip camera. Next week my students are reading their first "published" books. This will be a wonderful way for me to experiment with our camera and the children will love to see and hear themselves on T.V. I hope to inspire the students to write better stories this way.

  1. Great idea! I love my little flip camera. Today I used it to film my class reading on the rug. They are supposed to have a required 15 minutes of school wide D.E.A.R. time. Many kids love it but some use it as recess. So I filmed them and then played it on the Smartboard so everyone could see who was actually reading. It was very cute. We will see who reads on Monday.:)

  2. I love that idea of filming them reading their books. I could do that in my class as well. Or we could do it for a Readers Theatre as well. I need to see if our school will invest in a few Flip cameras.

  4. I think the flip is a great tool for parents to experience what their children are doing in school if you wanted to put clips on your website :)
